- This product is intended for the reproductive stage of medium and large-sized species which, in addition to needing a high quality protein-rich diet during this time, they also benefit from a fatty acid profile rich in palmitic acid (Ara, Psittacus, Poicephalus…).
- It is formulated to stimulate reproduction. It contains a high level of protein with an amino acid profile suitable for this stage. Moreover, it is formulated with a particular focus on the fatty acid profile and Omega 6 and Omega 3 contribution. The concentration of vitamins and antioxidants of this product is higher than that in the maintenance formula in order to satisfy the increased requirements during breeding season.
- It is formulated to constitute 100 % of the parrot’s diet. However, it is advisable to add fresh fruit and vegetables in order to give variety to the diet as long as High Energy Breeding constitutes no less than 70-80 % of the overall diet by weight.
